Where Dulnain House and Thistle Cottage are located

Take the A9 north by-passing Perth, Pitlochry, Blair Athol, Dalwhinnie, Newtonmore and Kingussie.

Either turn off the A9 to the A95 south of Aviemore and drive through the town centre and out on the A95 or take the second turn off, north of Aviemore and turn left on to the A95 towards Grantown-on-Spey and Elgin.

Continue on the A95 for approximately 9 miles until on the left-hand side you see a large circular sign with flagpoles for the Speyside Heather Centre. Turn left here and immediately on the right you will see the driveway into the Speyside Heather Visitor and Garden Centre.

   

 

To get to Dulnain House and Thistle Cottage from the Heather Centre:

Turn right at the end of the Heather Centre driveway, follow the road for approx 2 miles until you reach the 'T' junction where you should turn left over the bridge. At the junction turn right and Dulnain Bridge and Thistle Cottage are on the left-hand side, opposite the village green.

Parking is at the rear of the property which can be accessed by taking the left-hand turning before the properties. The car park entrance is on your right.
